I travel to Helena a lot for business and have stayed at several different hotels. I have decided to stick with the downtown Holiday Inn because of the convenient location. I can park my car, unpack, and walk to any of the numerous restaurants in the neighborhood. If I don't feel like even leaving the room, their room service is quick, reasonably priced and good. The rooms aren't anything special but the beds are comfortable and they have a good selection of television shows, unlike some other Helena hotels I have stayed at. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Walked into the Holiday Inn and were quickly booked into the hotel without any reservations. Clean and modern room. Comfortable bed. Located right in downtown Helena. We had only planned on staying one night but ended up staying a second when our car got a flat which could not be fixed until the next day (apparently tire shops are not open on Sundays). The person at the front desk was very helpful and even offered to have his neighbour take a look at our tire if we wanted (he is a mechanic). Great value for what you pay.

We chose this hotel because it was said to be in the heart of a busy downtown. In mid-September, the lovely town centre area was very quiet. A number of empty shops and it was too cold for people to be sitting around. This Holiday Inn, had a restaurant/bar area which was one of the busiest we could find, well used by locals. It was a well laid out hotel, nice rooms and friendly staff.

This is by far the best stay at a hotel In a number of years. The customer service from the front desk staff was very fast and freindly. I asked to switch rooms to the other side so I could see the Helena Valley and they upgraded me to a suit it was the only room they had left. The service in the resturant was great they were busy and acknowleged me as soon as I walked in. The food was great and the atmospere was even better. I had the chance to play a trivia game on one of there big screen T.V.s. I lost track of time and was almost late for my flight. It wouldnt have been so bad since this would have given me another night to stay and explore Downtown Helena and the Last chance Gulch area.
