We drove down from Calgary to Helena over a weekend for a concert and stayed two nights in the middle of quite a cold snap. Really enjoyed staying in such a unique home, chatting with other guests at breakfast and Bobbi's warm hospitality. She definitely loves doing what she does. She was ultra-concerned with our comfort (they had a small heating problem at the time that didn't bother us at all, but she made sure we were ok).

Helena doesn't seem to have a lot of options outside of chain hotels. If we're ever back in Helena we'll be staying here again. No brainer.

We were on a two-week tour of the Northwest and had been staying in a variety of B&Bs, inns and lodges. Bobbi, our hostess at Sanders, was hands down the best hostess we had during our entire trip. She had a superbly wonderful way of making her guests feel at home and was just an extra bit friendlier and warmer than all the other innkeepers and B&B hosts we had encountered on our trip. This probably had something to do with the fact that she seemed to genuinely enjoy taking care of her guests.

We arrived on a hot afternoon and Bobbi welcomed us with the best lemonade ever. She left cookies, water, ice tea and sherry in the common areas for the guests in the evening. The sherry was a definitely a nice touch and much appreciated after the long drive we took to Helena.

Breakfast was tasty, and pretty. Our room was spacious and well decorated. It also had everything we needed, including cable TV, blow dryer and comfortable beds. The house is quite charming and is located in a neighborhood with lots of other historical buildings. Just down the street, you'll find an old governor's mansion.

We were definitely glad that we stayed here.

We were travelling with 3 kids, aged 8, 10 and 12 years. The owners and other employees were very welcoming and personal. The location of Sanders B&B is excellent, in a quiet neighbourhoud full of old and beautiful houses. The rooms were excellent and breakfast was fine. The city itself is worth to visit, with lots of character, history and culture!!

A long weekend for our anniversary, without the kids. The owners Bobbi and Rock are fantastic! Very caring of our needs and attention to detail in the upkeep of this most impressive, historic home. The town of Helena is so charming and this is in a beautiful neighborhood just perfect for an evening stroll. The breakfast was amazing, Grand Marnier French Toast to die for, and the setting was casual with ample time to eat and visit. Cookies and tea in the afternoon was a great treat. We stayed in the Colonel Suite with a view of the cathedral. It was just what I hoped for and more.
