The room was clean but the beds a little too soft for our comfort. the breakfast offered was very light.

My husband and I booked a king room and prepaid (Marriott website). Arrived and the only king room was handicapped with no tub. They were able to move us to "the only other room available in the hotel". Double beds, fitted bottom sheets were put on inside out. Room smelled really really bad. There is a sloping sidewalk at the entrance and I saw two people plus my husband slip and fall on the ice. Apparently they couldn't be bothered to clear it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was not at all what we expected. It should be noted we had been travelling the U.S. for a month staying in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Scottsdale and Grand Canyon. We had wonderful hotels everywhere else we stayed including small towns in Utah and Idaho when highway was closed due to road conditions. When the Marriott sent an e-mail asking about our stay I e-mailed back with my complaints and no one even bothered to contact me to apologize..... Do not stay here.

My husband and I stayed here with our three young children and another couple. We were very impressed on how clean this hotel is. It is an older establishment but it is extremely clean. I have stayed in more expensive, newer hotels and been disappointed. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Which is something that can be very hard to find now. The pool is older and smaller than some but it was clean. There is definitely a strong smell of chlorine but I would rather have it clean than not know what is in the water!!! The breakfast was adequate for our family and it was nice to run down and have breakfast quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend to friends or stay here again.

The staff and service provided were good, the room is clean and well maintain. The location is good, just across the village mall and starbuck coffee also lots of restaurant along 10th ave and convenience store/grocery store(target and albertson). We stayed on the ground floor near the side exit and it was quiet during our stay, i could say we slept well. The facility is looking more dated than the last time we were here in 2008. The tiles on the swimming pool are darkened by old age and the paint on the walls are falling off too. The other hotel chains are now using lcd tv and fairfield still uses tube tv. Tried the internet in the lobby seems ok.
