The room was clean but needed updated. The place is a little expensive for what you get.
They don't even offer a free cup of coffee. The only good thing about the place was that one of the people that worked there let us use his bear spray. I still haven't figured out what the utility surcharge was for.

We stayed at the Rising Sun after a last minute backpacking cancellation. They only had one room available (handicap accessible w/no view) but we were very glad to have it. The room was basic and clean. The location is excellent - only 12 miles from Logan Pass which is the closest of any hotel.

We stayed at a motel room in the rising sun motor inn and it was better than we expected.
Nice room, it was clean and comforable. The room had 2 queens.
Like most park motels you can hear your neighbours.
Would stay here again.

We chose to stay at Rising Sun Motor Inn after we were unable to get a reservation at Many Glacier Hotel. I had to reserve two rooms for my family of five because the rooms have double beds. Our rooms were next to each other but not adjoining. We found that we liked the location for touring the East side of Glacier National Park, including Many Glacier. The rooms were spotless and the desk staff pleasant. We would definitely consider staying at Rising Sun again.
