Arrived later in evening. Hotel had reservation and was able to accomodate request of lower floor room. Room was clean, but, very warm. Pool had slippery surface around it and not really kid friendly, should be wearing water shoes to be safe. Breakfast ran out all three mornings we were there, despite that we tried at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, 9:30 a.m. on Sunday and 6:15 a.m. on Monday. Items were not refilled. Staff had problem with my Canadian credit card. Asked for a second type of payment, provided second Canadian credit card, still an issue. Gave them a debit card, I asked to pay 2 nights 'in advance' the staff person requested that I obtain cash instead as Canadian debit card not acceptable. Agreed to get cash, then staff person said to call my bank have them authorize and provide them with name. I did this, gave name to front desk staff, she said she would call credit card company and if an issue she would contact me, I never heard another thing. Checked out today, thought no problem. Staff and manager of this hotel contacted a family member that staff saw visiting us in the hotel, and called them and told them that we our credit card did not work (I called credit card company and confirmed name of person and also confirmed hotel had not even tried to authorize a charge.......) and that we had ran out on bill. Several long distance calls on cell phone later had hotel call credit card company to get charge through (hotels fault, not credit card, credit was available)and all is fine, however, hotel refused to even apologize for calling family and telling them we had a **issue** with our credit card (which the hotel did not treat correctly). If you value your privacy - you will not stay here. ”
