We stayed here, too, during the recent heat wave but the fan kept our room nice and cool. The managers here are so very nice, and have the sweetest dogs, who provided us with entertainment (one dances in a pink tutu!).
We would definitely stay here again.
Make sure to have a meal at the Swan River Cafe nearby. The food is delicious and made with love.

They were quite friendly checking in, but the room was stifling hot with no air conditioning (100 degrees that day). We stayed two nights. There was no hot water for showers - blamed it on a wedding party that was staying there. Our friends paid for a camper hook up weeks before and were assured that there was plenty of hookups. They did not have an adequate hookup but management improvised and blew a fuse or something, so they did not have electricity in the trailer. The worst part about our stay was that no one was in the office when you needed them. There would be a sign on the door - no one was around. There was to be a continental breakfast, but at 8:00 in the morning there still was no one. They had a packed house, but the office was locked. Some web sites called it a Super 8 and some said formerly Super 8. This motel is definitely not Super 8 quality.

The view in the Swan Valley is just Awesome! And Swan River Lodge made our trip memorable. Talk about clean rooms and friendly people, they have it all!
