We stayed at Days Inn on Friday night January 6, 2012. We had called earlier and made reservations and told them we had two dogs with us and were told it would be a $8.00 charge for each dog which we thought was reasonable as we have traveled with our dogs extensively and pay each time we travel unless staying at LaQuinta, which is our preference but they don't have one in Billings. Anyway, we thought the room was adequate for the price. Saturday morning, while sleeping in, we were awakened by the maid knocking on the door...first time this has happened while staying in any motel. I believe check out time is 11:00 am; this was 8:45 am. So we got ready and decided to take advantage of their breakfast. There were the usual...cereal, toast, bagels, boiled eggs, juice, milk and coffee and then there were the waffles and sausage gravy and biscuits. The waffles would have probably been good but the syrup used was horrible; the sausage gravy was bad enough that we couldn't even stomach it to eat it to be polite!
Now, we come to the biggest reason I'm writing a review. When we paid for our stay, they had charged us twice for the dogs ($32.00). I questioned the man behind the counter and he gave me a corrected bill. I questioned him about the way the bill read but he assured me that we wouldn't be charged the additional $16.00. I get an alert from my credit card company and when the alert made it to my email box, it showed the $32.00 charge so I called my credit card company. I was told at that time that the charges were pending and I would have to wait until they actually charged my account before I could do anything.
This morning I checked my card again and saw where I was charged twice for the pets but no credit was issued. I called my credit card company and they are taking care of the problem BUT to have to go through all this for a one night stay...it's not worth it. We won't be returning to this motel!

Rooms were small, the beds were fine for some in the group and awful for some.
The people at the desk were very helpful and it was a fine one night stop on our way to the airport.
The breakfast was good, waffle station is always nice.

Stayed here for a week on business. I travel nearly 100% for my job. Usually stay at Marriot brands, but project budget and room availability led me to the Days Inn.
I had read the previous reviews so my expectations weren't very high. From the outside, it looks a little sketchy. Smoking is allowed in some rooms, so I was concerned that the stale cigarette smell would pervade the whole place. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room was immaculate and smell-free. The furnishings are outdated, but seriously, one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in. No dust or grime to be seen anywhere, even on top of bathroom light fixture. Yup, I checked. This was not just the check-in day, either. Everyday cleaned top to bottom. Fairly quiet, too. Even with teen girl soccer players next door.
Checked out free breakfast one mornIng - skip it and grab something from Stella's or Starbucks downtown (10 min away).
It is close (3 min away) to Kings Ave for chain restaurant options. Freeway access is great.

Day Inn in Billings, although a bit hard to locate, furnished me a large, immaculate room complete with fridge, microwave, coffee-maker, and television. In addition to the queen sized bed, there was a large bureau (on top of which was the TV), an easy chair, and a nice-sized desk with chair.

Breakfast featured several kinds of juices, dry cereal, muffins and bagels, milk, tea, and coffee – plus my favorite – waffles. Ila, one of the managers, were out of her way to help me reconfirm my flight the next day, as the phone book furnished no number for Horizon Aairlines.

Altogether (I stayed two nights) it was a a very satisfying experience.
