I read the tripadvisor reviews before our trip and they were very accurate. This hotel is far above what is expected of a Super 8. I am extremely picky and I really had to look for something to complain about. the hotel is very clean and well maintained. The carpet, wall paper, & bedding all were in good condition. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Our travels plans changed and we left a day early and they were still friendly and helpful. If we return to the area we will stay here again.

Came upon this hotel after getting caught in a blizzard between St Louis and Iowa.
Expecting nothing other than a plain room was surprised by the clean spacious room with a fridge and micorwave included.
Indoor pool was great.
Very Friendly staff and breakfast was a nice touch.
Would Highly recommend this hotel .

Stayed 2 nights at the Super 8 in Troy. Probably one of the best Super 8's I've ever stayed in. Very nice decor, clean. Room had micowave, refrigerator. Breakfast was nice and adequate....coffee, juice, cereal, toast, bisquit and gravy, waffles, doughnuts, rolls, yogart, fruit. Just a pleasant stay in a very clean comfortable hotel. Price was a little higher that normal Super 8 prices but had an indoor swimming pool and hot tub and was comparable to Holiday inn Express or LaQuinta.

My wife and I were traveling toward Denver via Des Moines after visiting St. Louis. This was one of ten or so motels and hotels we slept in over the past three weeks. And it was our favorite in many ways and clearly the best value.

Everyone in the hotel was friendly. Breakfast was good, a little better than standard. The room was big and comfy. Everything was set up for a good night's sleep in the middle of a long road trip.

We didn't swim in the pool, but liked that it was there.
