“Friendly, Clean and Comfortable Hotel”

This hotel was well worth my money. It was only $55/ per night for non-smoking 2 queen size beds right in front of the pool. We checked in around 3 pm and had enough time to enjoy the Fantastic Cavrens( which was only a couple of miles from the hotel) and eat dinner at the Buckinghams BBQ ( right accross the street). Finally got to the room at about 7 pm. It was nice, clean and comfortable. Pillow-top mattress just like home. Free cable with HBO. Pool was amazing and loved the red and blue lights on the hotel. Slept like a baby. Ate breakfast which served muffins, cereal, toast, coffee, milk and juice. Pretty basic breakfast but hey it was FREE. Two thumbs up.

“I've been in worse”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 February 2010

Girl working check in was very polite and profesional. Unfortunately, that was the high point of my stay. At $47.00 a night, I wasn't expecting much. But all I needed was a place to sleep. I'm not an extremely picky person by any means, but the carpet was dirty to the point of being sticky. Paint peeling on the walls in a few places (not a huge deal for me) and no alarm clock! Again, not a huge deal, just don't remember being in a hotel that didn't have one. Plenty of hot water, which actually surprised me. Biggest problem was the noise. I live in the country, so I'm not used to road noise, but the surprising thing was that it actually seemed louder in the room than it was outside. I don't believe I'll be spending another night in this particular hotel.

“It was satisfactory.”

We have just returned from a weekend at America's Best Value Inn. The room as well as the bathroom was very clean, comfortable, and within walking distance of Walmart, Kmart and many restaurants . The complimentary breakfast was disappointing. Wheat/White Bread, jelly, peanut butter, cheerios, raisin bran cereal, 2% milk, Vitamin D milk, and some really awful donuts, coffee and tea were the only items served. We paid $42 per night for a room using the 15% off coupon on the hotel website. Overall I would say it's a simple, no-fuss place.....no extras to be pleasantly surprised.

“Drove Up & Left”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 April 2008

i saw a coupon in the roomsaver book w/ a price of 44.99 for 3-4 people. I called the rate was available for the nite & the staff seemed polite. BUT when me & my husband pulled up the outside looked run down, even thought they rennovated in 07 (MAYBE THE INSIDE BUT DEFINETLY NOT THE OUTSIDE) I know I shouldnt judge a book by its cover, but it didnt look safe because there was hardly anyone in the lot (and this is a busy area of hotels) PAINT PEELING OFF THE BUILDING, DUMPY LOOKING TRAILOR PARK IN THE BACK OF THE BUILDING (NOTHING AGAINsT TRAILOR PARKS BUT THAT ONE IS A DUMP!) So we drove down the street to the Eagles Lodge which was on 5 bucks more(w/coupon) WITH PRETTY MUCH THE SAME AMENITIES. EAGLES LODGE HAS A SAFER FEEL, NICE STAFF AND CLEAN ROOMS WITH WI-FI AND FREE BREAKFAST JUST WHAT WE NEEDED.

  • Liked — nice staff over the phone, price
  • Disliked — the outside, location
