Springfield Missouri's Value Place has a great location next to a supermarket, theater, and several quality restaurants. The manager and staff are extremely professional but they each treat you more like a member of their family than a guest. It is comforting to know that your needs are meet by a wonderful and friendly staff. Value Place employees take the time to know you as a person. We have the best group of individuals around us!

The people were very friendly. Any time you needed help they were more than happy to assist you. The room had a kitchen with a full fridge, microwave, and stove top which was very useful because we had kids with us. It is located right across the street from a grocery store, which again with kids is very helpful. It also has a laundry room on site. I really don't have anything bad to say about it.

My husband and I recently moved to Springfield and needed a place to stay till our apartment came available. We originally started off looking at places in the North as not many hotels do a weekly rate that we could afford. I had seen this place online and on here but had dismissed it due to the one rating on here about the bugs in the bed. However on seeing the options in the North which were really NASTY - we decided we would go and check this place out.
It is AMAZING in comparison to the slums in the North we were offered for the same price. This place is fairly newly built and contemporary and light - it has a really nice kitchenette with microwave and full size fridge, stove top elements. We got a studio room which has a full size bed and a couch, coffee table, tv, table and two chairs, a laundry basket even was under the bed, coat hangers and a place to hang clothes... it REALLY is well set up.
I was so impressed! There is air conditioning in each room also which is great.
The security here is great too - only people with security cards can get in, parking is free and very easy. The location is great and right next to James River Freeway. Also it is right behind Price Cutter - which is handy and Starbucks and Qdoba are right there too.
We are still here for the next week or so but I just wanted to write a review on how we are finding it here because felt it unfair there is only one experience that is so negative on this place when our experience thus far is fantastic.
And regarding the previous review on the bugs in the bed. I guess that has been well and truly dealt with because the mattress we have is very new looking and all has been fine. Everything is exceptionally clean and I am a fussy person about cleanliness.
So I would TOTALLY recommend this place. It's excellent value and provides you with a nice place to call home - this place is every bit as nice as Extended Stay America here in Springfield where we stayed last time and it was way more expensive.
I'm so glad we tried this place! The staff here are all really friendly and helpful too - really nice people.

After our first night we noticed small insect bites, by the second morning my wife and I had multiple bites. We searched the beds and found several lentil size insects. When we told the management, they forced us to leave and they only offered a refund after much discussion. We were blamed for the problem although we had only been there two nights. We would NEVER recommend this facility.
