We stayed here one night on our way to Florida. The room was adequate but the staff left a lot to be desired. They acted like they were doing you a favor by letting you stay there.
In an attempt to figure out how the coffee carafe worked in the Lobby I asked the manager. The lid was off of it, and the pot seemed cold. He grabbed a foam cup, poured a half cup of coffee, stuck his finger in it and waved it in front of me yelling ..."see it's not cold!" If it had been hot, he wouldn't have been able to do such a graphic demonstration.
On the return trip home we stayed at the Day's Inn in Sikeston. It was a much better experience and more reasonably priced than Country Hearth. After we checked into our room at the Day's Inn, the front desk even called to see if everything was satisfactory and did we need anything?
