“A Dump”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2007

If you have ever stayed in a Drury Hotel....then this place is not for you...the place was a dump if you ask me....my kids would not sleep on the bed and the furniture was old and the room had a stale smell as if the carpet has been there forever which had more stains in it then I can count. I cannot imagine how anyone giving this place four stars. If you have ever slept in any Drury hotel by all means do not think you will find the same comfort/quality here. This place is for truckers wanting to get off the road and take shower...construction workers in town working .. so by all means you don't want your kids or teenage daughter walking around this joint...the rooms were priced different by which floor u stay on....top floor being the cheapest as there is no elevator...HA!
If u picked a prostitute off the streets and looking to get laid take her here. If u are traveling with your kids and family by all means drive pass this place.....How could the Drury attach its name to this place???

“nice little hotel”

You won't be disappointed with this hotel for the price. Clean rooms...comfortable beds...very friendly staff...and a great breakfast. Nice pool out back also but usually a lot of kids running around and playing. I have stayed at just about every other hotel in this town and would choose this one over anyone else. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. Yes, it's an older hotel but is kept up very nicely.

“Great Crash Pad”

The room was clean and everything in the room looked in good shape, no old towels or old bedspreads. The breakfast was great, awesome doughnuts, bagels, milk, juice and oatmeal. We arrived at 12:30am and felt safe. I did read the comment about the ice machine and it is kind of in an awkward spot if you are staying on the opposite side. We did'nt get to try the pool, but it looked clean with shallow and deeper ends. Well worth the $55 we spent.

“Don't expect too much!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 April 2007

I made reservations at this hotel after reading the positive reviews posted on this website. I just want to warn you not to get your hopes
too high. The words "by Drury" may mislead you. The outside of this hotel gives you a strange feeling. It is very old and showing it. Our room, well, the carpets looked old and stained, the bedspreads have seen better days. We were very disappointed. The lobby is small,
nice, clean. This hotel had a great staff. They were very nice, pleasing, courteous.

“Very nice and Relaxing”

I come back for a family reunion every year and I have stayed at just about every hotel in Sikeston and I can honestly say this is the best one of the bunch. I stayed in Room 301 and it was a nice room with a double bed. The hotel gives great friendly service and with a price under 50.00 a night you cant beat it at all..And I have been in the hospitality business for over 10 years so I know hotels/ motels pretty well. Id recommend this hotel anyday..Its not a 5 star gem...But its nice, clean, relaxing and the staff is very friendly..the only draw back is they dont have an elevator. But I dont mind the exercise at all, so for me thats not a problem..Ill be back again in August 2006 and this will be the hotel I stay in.
