The Hotel Bothwell was a wonderful rest stop as we rode the Katy Trail. The Hotel is about 3 blocks from the trail and the Katy depot. They housed our bikes for the night and had them ready to go the next morning. The room was clean and we had a flat screen TV. The breakfast is served on the 1st floor just off the lobby and it was nice, The staff were very helpful, I needed something from my bike and they brought the bike to the Lobby for me and then returned it to the storage area. We have already made our room reservation for our next trip on the trail.

We must repeat it. The Bed was wonderful! The Hotel is located in the Downtown area. We attended a wedding reception being held in the Hotels Grand Ballroom. Our family had a great time. We stayed in the family suite. The suite had two separate rooms with a queen bed in each. It worked great, our kids were in one room and we were in the other. And did we mention that the bed was wonderful! It was a little high off the ground, but it was well worth the climb. It was a great nights sleep. The hotel has a business center, fitness room, and the breakfast room worked great for our kids.

A very beautiful old, historic hotel with all of the amenities you would need. Built in 1927, the hotel has the most comfortable beds, a grand lobby, the Ragtime Store (Scott Joplin got his start in Sedalia), a small bar, and a nice restaurant. There is a coffee room off of the lobby, where guests can self-serve themselves a continental breakfast in the morning. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Business once again called me to Sedalia. I chose this time to stay some place different than the chain motels. I had the most pleasant experience. The room was clean, great mattress, the manager said the rooms in the Hotel had just been updated. We had a chance to eat in the Hotels resturant the Ivory Grille and had a drink in the lounge. The food was great and the Hostess was a gem. She took care of us like we came there every night. I will diffently stay there again!
