Stayed at this hotel one night on Sept. 20, using accumulated Priority Club points, and what a pleasant experience it was--from check in to check out, could not have been better. First of all, let me comment on the general manager. He was in fact a MANAGER. Saw him in the lobby, saw him checking the pool, saw him pass through the breakfast area, and saw him interact with guests, including me. Have not had that experience with other managers in hotels before. They usually seem to be hiding somewhere in the bowels of the hotel and come out only when required to do so. His staff was also great and very professional. The hotel itself is only about a year and a half old and has a really great decor. It is clean, smells good, and you have the feeling the folks who work there take pride in their establishment. The rooms are some of the best we have seen in a HI Express (and we have seen many!) and the beds are very, very comfortable. The breakfast area was very pleasant with the usual HI Express breakfast food. We enjoyed the stay very much, and if we are ever in the area again, will certainly stay at this hotel!
