Hands down, this was well worth the price we paid.

1. The staff asked what was the reason we stayed and told her that we were here for our child to get a second opinion at St Louis Children Hosp and she gave us a discount on our on-line rate.

2. King suite had everything you needed including microwave and fridge. Room was very clean and nicely appointed with FREE wifi.

3. Staff very friendly.

4. Hot breakfast included 3 items - egg/cheese omlet, sauges, and potatoes. The rest were standard including pastries, bagels, make your own waffles, etc. But it was all included. What more can you ask!! Try that at the Sheraton or Four Seasons...(Yes, I know they factor that all in when the priced the room but I'm use to paying $199 at the Sheraton and being nickeled and dimed to death)

5. Close proximity to downtown and Science Museum and Zoo.

We would definitely stay here the next time we visit the city.

Hello Hoosier_family_01;

Thank you for staying with us and leaving your remarks on Trip Advisor. I understand that you will stay with us again and we really appreciate that. Just so you know, the Children's Hospital rate is offered year round, last room availability. We are only 1.4 miles from the hospital so it is very convenient. We do have two room types here and am glad that you found the King Studio suite clean and well appointed. All of our Suites, rather having 1 King bed or 2 Queens, have a full size fold out sofa, mini fridge, microwave, larger flat panel TV, separate sink from shower area, and our double the width size of our standard rooms (1 King + fold out OR 2 Queens). We have upgraded our Internet (wired / wireless), which is always FREE, and it is now even quicker. We are known for customer service and are always happy to hear comments on our "friendly staff". Please come back! We promise to rotate our hot items in breakfast so you may get to try some of our other awesome items. And when you do return, just remember that you can walk to the Zoo or The Science Center, leave your car here, and not be charged for parking.

“Great Place-Dog friendly”

This is a favorite place for my 2 Belgians...they love the staff:) We travel with our two Belgian Tervuren dogs, they are our fur kids:) We are treated we smiles all the time. The Breakfast is really good -the pm snacks I wish were more health friendly..My husband is on low salt diet and there is not much to choose from. The other thing if the management reads this -is they need to put a place for "doggie droppings" that is not right next to the entrance doors, I would like to suggest a trash can out in the parking lot by the grass area. might help others to get the hint and dispose of there own dogs droppings (one of my pet peeves) I always pick up after mine!

I just want to thank you for your comments and make you aware that management does read them. However, I think there is some confusion on this review vs. this property; we are not pet friendly. We are glad that you found the property clean (we are know for our cleanliness) and I glad that your son enjoyed our indoor pool (open 6a - 10p, daily), and there is always time for your husband to enjoy the workout room because it is open 24 hours. I would recommend this hotel to all. Our visit went without a hitch and we had 7 rooms in our reservation with many special requests. The staff was professional and delivered terrific service. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!
