We stayed at this hotel for a quick trip to see some sights in St. Louis. This has a wonderful location for families that don't want to have to drive everywhere. You have a couple minute walk to both the Arch and Busch Stadium. There are also many restaurants in the area. We loved the free snacks and drinks from 5:30 - 7:00pm, my kids loved it. Staff was friendly and accomodating! Rooms were clean and updated. No reason to stay anywhere else. We got a great room rate by checking the website for E-rate. The parking garage is a bit pricey at $15. If you have a big SUV like we do, the parking is a bit cramped but sufficient.

The hotel is very close to the arch, the historic courthouse, and the Cardinals' Busch Stadium, and not too far from where the Rams play. It is a nicely refurbished old hotel with a good lobby. They have free snacks and drinks from 5:30-7 pm (hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, baked potato, beer, wine, and mixed drinks), and they had a free breakfast with hot biscuits and gravy, sausage, pancakes, eggs, yogurt and various pastries. Parking is $15, but it is a gated garage with elevators into the hotel. The rooms are nice. We got a great deal on the room by using the E-rate on their web site. It is a good hotel for families with all of the free food and drinks at this price.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in 2010 and 2011, with the last visit in October 2011. Visits were for anywhere from a few days to two weeks, so I have a good perspective on the place.

Work for a local company and people from our company tend to split between the Drury or the Westin. Westin has a better gym and a fancier (paid) breakfast from what I've heard, but I always go to the Drury due to its price, the friendlyness of the staff, the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel, the good internet and the feeling of almost being home when I am there. Due to traveling for work, tend to wind up in some of the same hotels in places and the Drury is one of the ones I feel good about going back to.

Lobby is very large and impressive. Checkin is fast and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Have had packages delivered, asked questions, needed toiletries, etc and they have always helped. Hotel has a small kiosk next to the front desk with sundries for sale and a computer one can use.

Lots of elevators and a room key is needed to call an elevator. Rooms are clean, though decorated in an older formal style. Internet is good and the location is quiet and convenient for the area near the arch. Two restaurants are located in the hotel, including a very good steakhouse. Drury also has a 5:30 "kickback" where some food and drinks is offered as sort of a mixer along with piano music. Free warm breakfast also included.

Hotel is about a 10-15 walk from the metro and is convenient to use going to or from the airport. The downtown area right around the hotel is safe.

I have stayed a night at the Drury near the airport and the vibe is similiar, but still prefer this hotel to the other Drury. The Drury at the Arch does fill up on game nights, particularly Saturdays sometimes, so I did stay one Saturday at another hotel close by when I was in St Louis for two weeks, but went back to the Drury as soon as I could.

This hotel feels "cozy.." but is extremely upscale. The rooms are quiet, clean, nice, and UPDATED. For $90+ tax nighty, you get a suite, with two flat screen tvs, living room, separate bedroom. What a nice place. Every person working here says hello. I kid not. The staff are great. Rooms have shampoo, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, etc. Breakfast each morning is simple and good: coffee, juices, teas, sodas, waffles, eggs, bacon, breads, bagels, yogurts, cereals, everything stocked and clean. Huge area in which to dine. This is an austere hotel which has made me think twice, in a great way, about staying at Drury Inns worldwide. I really liked this hotel. It's located by everything and presents great solitude in the middle of St. Louis downtown. $15+ tax daily for parking in the garage, fyi.
