My husband booked the Grille Package for our "date". It was wonderful! Check in took awhile because there is only one person behind the desk (not counter). Hotel is from 1913 and the details are beautiful. Our room was on the 2nd floor, which is not what I would choose. There was quite a bit of traffic and outside noise. So, we turned the heater on fan mode and it drowned out the noise, but not in an annoying way. Bed is super comfortable! Room was nice size and clean. Bathroom is very tiny in the regular rooms. Would love to see the Ambassador Suite. Our package included room, valet parking (reg $25), $50 dinner credit (with dessert ours was barely over), shuttle service in a nice Lincoln Navigator (within a 5 mile radius), a delicious breakfast buffet (reg $9 each) and exceptional hospitality from the hotel staff. We will definitely choose this hotel for future "date nights".

This historic hotel was great! Comfortable rooms, good rates, but the best thing about this hotel was the staff. Julie at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating as she helped us with a birthday surprise as friends arrived at the hotel. We enjoyed the bar area where we gathered to visit and all enjoyed Jim the bartender's drinks. Even though this is a "city" hotel, it has a warm small town quaintness and we felt like special guests. Loved the convenient location. Highly recommend.

Wife and I booked a hotel on Hotwire and we got the Omni Majestic. The hotel was very nice and the staff was wonderful. The hotel was conveniently located to our other friends hotel downtown. The check in was very smooth and they were helpful and pleasant. The lady opened up a bottle of wine we had brought with us since we did not have a bottle opener and she went out of her way to get us two wine glasses (instead of plastic cups from the room).
Parking is either valet for $25 a day or on street parking.
We ended up with two double beds instead of a king bed. Not sure if this was a Hotwire mistake or the hotel. Was not that big of a deal, but the bed was not super comfortable. Room was fairly spacious. Normal bath/shower combo, nothing fancy (would prefer a giant shower and no tub). Refrigerator in the room.
The hotel was very clean and looked nice. The lounge/bar area looked great but we did not have the chance to enjoy it.
I recommend going for breakfast at the Rooster around the corner!
I would stay here again.

I just attended a 3 day conference held at the Omni Majestic in St. Louis. This hotel is beautifully detailed in the lobby and elevators, and the restaurant was surprisingly good. Decent spread for breakfast, but the staff! I work at a hotel in San Diego known for customer service, but this hotel's staff is amazing! Very accomodating to our group's requests, every employee said hello as I walked to hallways, even the guys working on the elevators! It's hard to find customer service like this anywhere. Walking distance to the arch, I'm sure there's eatting options around (though the in house food is delicious!), beds were very comfortable, rooms are simply decorated. Bravo, Omni Majestic. If I ever find myself in St. Louis again, you'll have my business.
