I stayed here during a business conference. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were very spacious as you would expect from a suite hotel. Walking distance to some very good resturants.

The location of the hotel is good. Walking distance to the City Museum, and lots of boutiques, restaurants and bars. Also right next door to the Edward Jones Dome (which can be good or bad depending on why you are there). We got stuck in some "monster truck show" traffic one time when we were trying to leave the hotel.
The valet and bell staff were very speedy and courteous.
The room was very nice and new looking. High ceilings and a good amount of space. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager seemed to be visible at most times, and seemed to be attentive to the guests. The pool and gym area looked nice as well. This Embassy Suites also has a full restaurant. We were tired and ended up ordering room service one night. The food wasn't great, but was ok considering how tired and hungry we were. Breakfast was fine-typical of other Embassy Suites.
One thing to note: St. Louis is still a "smoking" city, so if you are sensitive to smoke, be sure to ask for a completely smoke-free floor. Our room was located on a floor that is half smoking/half non-smoking. I am extremely sensitive to smoke, but did not detect any smoke odor in our room. I did smell smoke in the hallway one time.
Overall, our stay was very good, and I would definitely stay there again.
I believe this hotel has only been open for 3 months. It's absolutely gorgeous! The service was outstanding. Our suite was larger than we expected and we heard no hallway noise or noise from another room. The (indoor) pool area is nice. The staff was friendly, everyone spoke to us. The complimentary breakfast was very impressive. I ordered an omelet and it was the biggest I've ever seen and was delicious as well. We have nothing negative to say about this hotel. We plan to stay again next summer.
Aewsome hotel.
Great staff (Robert, Steven, Josh and Rodeshia) made the Evening Reception fun. No need to leave the hotel for dinner as this hotel has the most delicious food (Salmon entree).
Very friendly Breakfast Reception staff (Crystal and Rodeshia) with an assortment of healthy breakfast foods.
Incredible gym and swimming pool....
Clean updated rooms with a great downtown St Louis location made the Embassy Suites (Downtown St Louis) the perfect hotel.
Spent three days at the Embassy Suites in conjunction with a trade show. Newly remodeled hotel with very large, comfortable rooms, excellent workout facility and nice pool/hot-tub. Had a minor issue getting into my room the first day, but it was quickly resolved with the help of housekeeping (I didn't note her name) and Amos in maintenance. Their quick assistance and friendliness was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again (business or personal vacation) and would highly recommend.
