“Great find”

A great find in a dowtown location is the Hyatt at the Arch. The rooms are very comfortale and modern while not overly large. I love the spacious shower in the bathroom which has the latest style sink and facilities. The room is very comfortable. The food is very good and not overly priced. The greatest find is the staff. Erica was our breakfast server and even offered a box to take away things to munch on later. The food was delicious while not being overly priced and a nice selection. Being a pastry person I had a significant number of entrees to choose from. Ebony Upchurch the Meeting Concierge was extremely helpful in making sure the meeting room had all the amenities to make the time enjoyable.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are nice and there is a lovely courtesy sign to tell you to keep quiet after 9:00 p.m...

“Short Stay - Great Hotel -”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012 via mobile

We booked on Hotels.com sameday and recieved a great rate. They were very accommodating with late check in and outs and we appreciated given we checked in at 5 am the following day!
The lobby is very nice. Starbucks, Ruth's Chris steakhouse, gift shop, probably a lot more that our red eyes did not see.
They gave us the business suite and when we opened the door, we were perplexed to see 10 office chairs surrounding a conference table and thought we were in the wrong room! But, we weren't and the spacious room was very nice. Beds very comfortable, nicely appointed furniture, bathroom was small but very modern and clean. We must have been near the elevator cause we heard something all night long and what few hours we had to catch some sleep was met with consistent mechanical sounds. Nothing that a fan couldn't have muffled out but unfortunately no floor or ceiling fan available and the fan on the heater was virtually silent.

***The only oversight I thought odd was the lack of a ramp to wheel your suitcases up to check in. Maybe we missed it? If so, so did everyone else checking out in the morning and had to lug them up the lobby stairs. Awkward.

Thank you for your review. I apologize that you experienced mechanical noise from the elevator - that is certainly something that we will address immediately. I’m glad to hear that the staff at the front desk accommodated your late check in and check out requests, especially with the noise issues you experienced.

One note, there is a ramp for suitcases in the lobby, it’s located on the other side of the escalator near the restaurant.

Thanks again!

“Best hotel, friendly staff, you feel at home”

To all the Saint Louis staff reading, it is Mr. Lao! I miss you guys. The Sheraton at Dallas is not so friendly nor welcoming.

Saint Louis Hyatt is great, from the front desk to the concierge to the food. Rooms are all modern and clean. Bathrooms all modern and clean. The regency club room was great, Lolita and Mike are awesome! The floors are all marble, they always use your last name and the staff is VERY attentive.

Ruth Chris is there if you want steak. Always good but a little overpriced.

Red has amazing breakfast with their omelet station and waffles with their friendly staff. The happy hour has nice hand made pizzas.

For anyone visiting the arch, this is the best hotel, the arch is across the street literally.

The gym is sufficient to do everything you need done, unfortunately the hotel wifi does't reach inside. Keith, did you get rower at the gym yet?!?!

The brewhouse food is great, good crowd most nights.

Most importantly the staff is great, they made me feel welcome and remembered my name.

Hey Mr.Lao!

It is great to here from you, we hope you are enjoying Dallas. I just wanted to say thanks for the kind words about our hotel and staff. It was our pleasure to create an enjoyable experience for you during you many stays with us.

As you know we are always striving to provide our guest with the best Hyatt has to offer, I am confident that as we look to maintain the best work out facility possible. We have a lot of new updates to our work out facility (no rowing machine yet though).

I am looking forward to your next visit.

“Wonderful Hotel”

I have been here three times for conferences. The rooms are extremely nice and the view of the arch is spectacular. The staff is top notch and meets every need you have. The bar in the lobby has excellent staff that know how to deal with large crowds and still provide top notch service. Although I am definitely not a fan of St. Louis the city, I really like this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: make sure you get a room up high facing the arch

Thank you for your great review of our property and service. We’re very proud of our Brewhouse sports bar and restaurant. It sounds like your conferences have kept you pretty busy, but I would highly recommend you speak with one of our concierges on your next visit. St. Louis has a lot of great restaurants, free museums, zoos, and attractions, and a great downtown – in fact, Washington Avenue in St. Louis was named one of the nation’s “Top 10 Great Streets” – for its dining and nightlife. Please contact me for more details, we would love your business on your next trip to St. Louis, and we’d love to show you what the city has to offer.
