When I checked in, afternoon desk clerk said they had been having trouble with air conditioning, but that it should be repaired that day. I dropped off bags, went to dinner. Upon return, temp in room was well over 80 degrees! I complained to evening desk clerk, who told me that no, they had not had "trouble" with the air conditioning, that they had actually "switched over" to central system--no ac available in any room, even though their website advertizes air conditioning in rooms. He brought me a box fan, I guess so that I could blow around the hot air. I checked out within 15 minutes. After a 4 day battle, they are finally going to issue a refund for the 2 nights I didn't stay, but they are still charging me for the first night, even though I checked out at 845pm. Interior doors were dirty, comforters were stained, vents in bathroom full of dust and grease. Won't EVER stay at that place again.

This is the biggest dump I've been in a long time. We weren't looking for anything fancy but did expect a nice clean room from a national hotel chain. The bathroom was awful. The shower head was barely hanging in the wall. The tub itself was filty. The beds were cheap and the pillows dirty. The floors were uneven and bumpy.

Breakfast was unwrapped Little Debbies. The fruits were bruised and old.

We booked our room becuse it was cheap and claimed to have a " delux" contianetal breakfast. I'm not sure what's delux about toast and overly sweet muffins. The breakfast was a huge disappointment. The rooms were clean and in ok shape. Nothing to write home about but I have stayed in worse.

I would not recomment the Days Inn at Exit 47 of I-29 in St Joseph, Missouri (4312 Frederick Blvd). Rented a room on 11-03-09, placed bags in room and went to eat and shop. Upon return, entered room to relax and noticed conversation from adjoining room. The 'neighbors' were not excessively loud; the walls were paper thin!! Immediately went to the front desk to ask about moving to a more isolated room and was told that I probably could not due to having been in the room for several hours. Informed the clerk that I had just returned from eating and had not been in the room more that a few minutes. She begrudgingly called management to 'check' on my wife and I having the option to move. Upon approval, we were put in another room. The air conditioning did not work; there were only two towels in the room; the television channel selections were very lacking. Not worth the call to the front desk as it should get cooler during the night. HOWEVER, at their rates, I would not stay there again and certainly would not recommend them to anyone.
