Thankful to find a room at a time when most hotels in the area were full. The room was quite adequate and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast, however was AWFUL and the coffe so bad that we could not drink it. THis is a convenient place to stop and a nice enough hotel but the breakfast needs to be improved or you will be loosing business rapidly.

This may have been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Where do I start, if they paid $50 for the mattress they got taken. I was in a double room and the bed sloped 4 inches from one side to the other and when I layed down my head and feet were about 5 inches higher then my butt. Sadly I was there for 5 days and my back hurt for a week. The room was very small and mold was present. The room was very dirty and when I took my shoes off my socks got dirty very quickly. The bathroom was as small as a closet, the water pressure was pretty good though. I did not notice any bugs in the room but several large spiders right outside the door in very large webs, I was scared leaving my room with them hanging around the door. It really had a rent by the hour big city feel. The staff was friendly and seemed to want to run a good motel, sadly they need to blow the place up and start over. Probably not an option in St Joseph but it is badly needed.

Honestly the motel 6 in town is probably a better bet and the Days inn is more money. Stay away unless you really want a bad sleep in an awful motel.

This hotel may not be new but the rooms are clean and there is a very spacious breakfast area. It was a good place for the price we paid.

This is hands down the WORST hotel we've ever stayed in. Upon checking in, we were told that we had to have an upstairs room despite my husband having just had back surgery. There were plenty of first floor rooms available, but we weren't going to be placed in one because, "the hotel management has total discretion in where guests are placed." This was a huge red-flag for us, so I told them that we'd just go somewhere else. They informed us that they'd already swiped our card and checked us in, so we'd still be charged for a full night's stay, and that no refunds are given for any reason, ever. After going around and around with them, we finally gave up and headed up to our room.
It was FILTHY. Not just a little dirty, it was absolutely disgusting. I don't think the carpet had ever been vacuumed, it reeked of mold, the bathroom had hair everywhere, and whoever used the toilet last was nice enough not to flush. It was quite warm, that day, so we turned on the AC and it was blowing hot air. We called the front desk to report the problem and they told us that the hotel has a 'central system' and that they had the heat on! They offered to bring a box fan up to the room, but said that no AC would be available that day. I actually had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't having a nightmare. Finally nighttime rolls around, and we get ready for bed. The mattresses are so worn out that they sink way down in the middle, like a cereal bowl. When we pulled the sheets back, there were blood stains all over them. That was the last straw. We picked up our bags and left. Our dispute with the credit card company is still pending. We paid almost $80 for this miserable experience... never stay here.
