The airport is about 15 miles away but st charles is a nice place to stay and has a lot of restaurants.St. Louis is the opposite direction tho.

I stayed at this particular Motel 6th on July 10th. When we checked in the rate was not what I was quoted. So my wife and I head to the room and I go to get ice. I was locked in the ice room. I had no way of contacting anyone to be able to get out of there. It was so hot and I was stuck in that room for well over 15 minutes. Luckily someone next door.heard me and got me out of there.

I went back to my room and tried to call the front desk and to my suprise the phone did not work! I could not believe this. I had to drive to the front desk to let the lady at the desk know all of this.

After I spoke with her I went back to my room and opened the drawer to put some clothes away. There was crumbs in the drawer. Also the smoke alarm did not work......felt like I was in a ghetto flophouse.

My family stayed here back in the summer and it was not too bad, so we came back in Dec. This hotel has had a total transformation. I was very impressed with the place. After speaking to the front desk, I found out it has a new General Manager that has a no tolerence attitude about the rif-raf. I give a big thumbs up to the place!!!

We ended up at this motel during a move to St. Charles and was extraordinarily disappointed by literally everything at this motel.
The appearance of the room at first glance seemed "ok" considering the cheap price, however the room was absolutely filthy. There was a BEER CAN underneath the edge of the bedspread, grime stains in the shower stall and used soap in the sink. The shower head in the bathroom was arranged at height fit for someone no taller than 4ft, you had to stoop just to wash your hair. The staff was remarkably rude, including the night manager who practically threw two towels at my husband after he asked for extras after saying "This is all there is here!". We were awoken at 7am the next morning by the police saying that someone in one of the rooms had called 911 but they didn't know which room and had we heard anything at all? I wasn't surprised by that considering the usuals who frequent the place. You could see a bbq grill and lawn chairs outside of one of the rooms, I do believe some people actually LIVE there. The night before there was a group of Mexicans right outside our door partying loudly and banging on the exterior walls. *see pictures taken outside of peephole*

All said, this place is a dump and it's dangerous. Had their been any other available rooms in the area that night we would have stayed somewhere else so use extreme caution before you're lured in by the cheap price. It's so cheap for a REASON.
