We had stayed here before, and it was wonderful. I realize with the flooding this year, as well as the economy, casinos have had to cut corners also. The beds used to be so comfy, but are showing signs of sagging. The grease chunks on the floor of the sunken living room, were a sign the maids arn't up to par, and the used coffee filter in the coffee pot, just added to the situation. The rooms are nice, as they have TV even in the double vanity bathroom. There is a walk in glass shower and a huge tub, to make everyone happy. The hotel desk people were very accomadating, and moved us to a lower floor due to my husbands problem with elevators.

We had stayed in the Venetian Venezia Tower the weekend before coming here, and the room was very much like the room we had there (the bed was not as plush). Overall, a comfortable room with a great view of the river.

My wife was attending a conference here, and I was tagging along. It worked well for the conference, and I was okay for the two days on my own, mostly because the old downtown St Charles was just a little bit away.

Overall great hotel for the money. Huge rooms with nice large flat screen tv's .

Only issue we had was the room not being cleaned one night.

This is a very nice hotel with the best rooms I have ever stayed in. Each room is a suite and has a sunken living room. The bath is by far the best I have ever seen in a hotel --- dual sinks, marble, a tub and a clear glass shower. We have a great time and I can't wait to go back! The casino is very nice too. This place has something for everyone!
