This place was mediocre enough that nothing bad or good really stood out. Everything was okay, and it wouldn't have been such a terrible place except that it was $85 per night. It would have been fine with a walk-up coupon at $39, although I don't know if such a deal exists. As it was, we had no choice because we had a dog with us and there were no other pet-friendly places available that day. (Dog was an extra $10 above the $85 rate, which made it seem even more overpriced.)
We skipped their breakfast and ate at the Waffle House next door, so I can't comment on the breakfast.
I would agree with other reviewers that it seemed a bit rundown and neglected, but it wasn't filthy and furniture was all in decent condition. It just lacked that attention to detail that makes even basic motels seem nicer, and that might have justified the higher rate.
