I stayed at the Riverside Super 8 on a business trip for five nights ending on August 4th. Being here for an extended stay I came into contact with most of the staff and they were all very helpful with directions and recommendations to the best food locations. It's been a very hot summer and it was nice to open my door to a clean, cool room. Super 8 has a friendly staff and were very accommodating.

No pool nor computer, but close to KC and across from a casino.

It was a scorching hot weekend and the pool was broken. The rooms were nasty -- there was plastic on the beds, the shower heads were just barely hanging on, the air conditioner dripped into our room so the floor was soaking wet and slippery and the toilet didn't flush very well. There was a continual smell coming up from the tub drain so our room smelled as if someone had just used the toilet -- number 2! We had to ask for clean towels every night and we never got get clean sheets. The breakfast was worthless. The jam was so old it wouldn't spread -- no doughnuts or rolls -- just nasty stale cereal and horrible-tasting orange something. The cable had about 4 channels and we were not allowed to use the high-speed internet. I won't be ever coming back to this place.

This place was unbelievable. Looks nice from outside but looks are deceiving. Once inside, the ceiling tiles in hallways are drooping down from leaks and are black with mold. Bathroom floors were sticky and smelled of urine. For as new as the motel looks it is in horrible shape. Sheets do not fit the beds so when you roll over they come undone and you are laying on a dirty mattress. One night we returned to our room about midnight and it had not been cleaned that day. We complained and requested compensation but they refused. Luckily we were leaving the next morning.
