We stopped in for a one-night stay, without having a reservation. Noticed that the entrance and lobby were somewhat tired-looking and there was a sign in the lobby stating the premises was undergoing renovations (carpeting and furniture). Was a bit skeptical, but decided to go forward with asking to see a room. Desk clerk obliged my request. Room was spacious, fairly well-appointed and fairly clean (did note a half-dollar-sized stain on one of the two spreads.) Otherwise, quite satisfactory. Hotel's pool is what most hotel chains offer -- something the size of a glorified hot tub that would satisfy kiddies aged 3 to 7. We did not use it. Hotel does not have an exercise/fitness room, but does have an arrangement for guests to avail themselves of the fitness facility of hospital nearby (we did not). Wifi connection was of good speed. Breakfast was expansive (make-your-own waffles, the ubiquitous biscuits-and-gravy, bagels and cream cheese, fruit, cereals, coffee and juices). Only negative comment relative to breakfast is that it is held in an open area just inside the lobby doors. Would be much more appealing if a divider wall or half wall was constructed to segregate these two areas and a flat-screen t.v. was added to the breakfast space. All-in-all, this facility is on the upper-end of average for its class.
