Hello we are not the type of people to complain, but this place was to much to ignore. We had traveled 900 miles that day, and just needed a good nights rest. The clerk was rude to start with, we walked into the hallway, and it smelled like dirty body odor, smoke and who knows what else. We got to our room, and the towel racks had been ripped out of the walls, the shower curtain rod was falling down, the handicap bar in the bathtub had been torn out, and big globs of caulk was stuck in the holes. The room appeared to be relativelly clean, but who knows!!!! I am sure you are asking why didn't we leave, we had paid our hard earned money, and wasn't sure we could find another hotel at that hour 9:00 PM. We will never stay in another Super 8, and we do intend to write to them also. That hotel is a disgrace to their name. Unhappy from Florida

The room wasn't cool at all in the 100 degree weather!!! There were cockroaches in the room, and baits to try to kill them!!!! There complementary breakfast was gagging gross no tp in the room!!! Just overall I would have say never never stay here !!!!!! Oh and got on there computer and got my face book account hacked !!!

This hotel had the worst service I have ever experienced. Besides the extremely unaccommodating dirty rooms it smells like I am in the smoking section of the local greasy spoon. Did I mention that I am in a non-smoking room. But it is the Super 8. I am more to blame than they are for choosing such a chain.

The Super 8 Motel at Poplar Bluff was pleasant surprise. It has an excellent full breakfast given the low cost the rooms. In addition to bagels cereal and sweet rolls, the motel served eggs, sausage, waffles French toast, sausage egg biscuits and a tasty breakfast burrito. They also had popcorn during the afternoon and evening. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful.
