We had a scary start to this stay, as when we tried to check in the didn't have a reservation for us. We were a day later than I'd initially planned and I'd called to update the reservation 2 days prior, but the person on the 1-800 line had canceled the middle night and left us booked in the 1st and 3rd instead of cancelling the first night as requested. This was no issue though, as the ladies at the desk assured me they could get us into our original rooms (king for us, 2 queens for the kids, connecting rooms). The next goof came when we were unloading our cats and apparently a staff member saw us and asked at the desk. It turns out they hadn't known we were traveling with pets, another mistake on the part of the reservation line, but again this was no issue. I was concerned we'd need to move rooms but she said nope, it was not a problem, she just needed to make a note of it on our bill.
The room was clean, the "ka-joozy" tub was much enjoyed by my kids, the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in, including one place that had those fancy sleep-number beds. The staff was so friendly, we really appreciated their help! The dryer was down and I had 2 loads to do (week long road trip!) so they offered to dry everything in their housekeeping machines free of charge. Yes, they should do that for their customers, but they didn't have to and I really appreciated it. Especially considering we didn't discover the dryer was broken until nearly midnight! I really feel that they went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable and convenient as possible.
