My wife and I stayed here (7/22) b/c Tan -Tar-Ra was sold out and we had originally planned on staying there on Saturday not knowing we would make it Friday and they had no rooms so the comfort inn was the closest . The rate is a little high for a comfort Inn however it’s an alright place, room was clean. The guy who checked us in had no personality though. The next morning we went to the main building to get breakfast at 920a only to be greeted by one other disappointed family who stated they got there 5min earlier and almost everything was put away?? At this point everything was put away. I think is a little early when booking the reservation the hotel uses the hot breakfast as a selling point as most comfort inns have only continental breakfast. On a Saturday morning most hotel extend breakfast hours to 11a from the normal 10-1030 not 920. I know my hotel which is the second largest in downtown STL does.
This is an honest assessment of a customers experience on who also has more than 8 years in the industry.
PS to the "owner" I also don’t think Trip Advisors hotel response section should be used to discount guests comments on there time at you property...it makes you look bad take a look at what hotels responses in downtown STL look like.
