I stayed at the Holiday inn for a weekend while visiting friends in the area. I woke up rather early and was pleasantly surprised to find quiet a nice selection of breakfast foods both hot and cold for my enjoyment. The fresh cinnamon rolls were my favorite.

Just stay one night at Osage so that the wife can spendsome time at the Premlium Outlet Mall.

The hotel itself is well run and provided for all the basic functionalities, including free wifi in rooms. There is a small fitness centre and even an indoor pool, by the lobby area, but I never saw anyone using them. The service was pleasant and functional, and I have nothing to complain about. The rooms/facilities are slightly old but well kept. Free breakfast buffet was simple, adequate but boring.

There are no views to talk about, and the room was reasonably comfortable. There were no noise or any discomfort issues when we were there. Carparking was ample and free.

Overall, a clean decent place to overnight, especially if your intent is just to go to the mall. For this the location scores 5 stars. If you want a longer stay, go somewhere else.

We stayed there for 1 night to be convenient for the outlets. No plans for going on the lake, strictly a shopping trip. When we checked in, our rooms were not ready. OK, I can handle that. But when we finally got our room, it was full of flies!! So we spent 30 min killing flies...the windows dont open, so we were grossed out thinking about how the files got in there...

Our family was with us, occupying 3 other rooms that were just as disgusting. The pool was absolutely gross too...I was afraid for the kids to get in it!

Good thing our room was free, we have loyaty points from staying at MUCH nicer holiday inn express'...They also charged my in-laws $1000 for their room instead of $100, so they could shop with their credit card while they were there because of the extra charge on the card!!

consider yourself warned...there are many great condos for rent for about the same price. that is what we are doing next time.

Every August my girlfriends and I travel to Osage Beach for a weekend of shopping at the Outlet Mall. We have stayed here for several years and love it. The hotel has a very friendly staff, clean rooms, great location, affordable prices and a great hot breakfast. This hotel is a must if you are planning a shopping weekend at the Outlet Mall.
