We were down for a funeral, and wanted inexpensive accomodation with a pool for the grandkids. The hotel has no frills, but it was very clean and the front desk service was helpful. There is a continental breakfast available, but be sure to get there before closing, because they close it up immediately at the stated time! We had to request pool towels from the front desk, but they were cheerfully given to us. The pool area was clean. It is an indoor pool, but you need to open the windows yourself to help keep the air temperature at a reasonable temperature(it was almost 100 outside!) The cable channel selection was quite extensive- very helpful to keep kids occupied. The beds & pillows were OK, again nothing special. The hotel is along a main thoroughfare, however it is in a slight hollow and is easy to miss- and the sign is not very well placed to help in locating the entrance. I would stay there again if looking for an inexpensive place to stay.

This place is the best place i have stayed at for its price. great staff and amazing waffles. the pool and spa looked nice too, though i went on a work related task, still going in fact, so i really didnt use it. the rooms were very clean and comfortable. if u have an avg. budget, def. the place to stay at. the only thing that i didnt like about it was the fact that there arent any microwaves in the room. also the third floor was a little warm i would say. but the room was cold within miniutes

What a nightmare! At 10:30 PM the shower broke in our room so we called the desk to report it. At 11:30 we called again and finaly at midnight someone came to fix it. They were in and out of the room until 2:00 AM!
The manager was very rude and did not offer a different room nor would they give a discount or refund. They even blamed my family for the damage and said we were lucky they didn't charge us for it! She also blamed us for the motel being out of water for a few hours! The handle [-] fell off the shower while my son was showering, how is that the fault of my family?
The room itself was musky and smelled smokey and was not very clean. There were very few soda selections in the machine and it was out of change. They asked a friend staying in a nearby room if they could take the refrigerator for a different room and the list goes on.
If you are traveling to this part of the world I strongly suggest staying at a different motel!!!!!!
As of now nothing has been resolved but I do hope that a fine corp like Super 8 will step up and make things right.

Upon arriving to the lake early, my husband and I stopped at the hotel to see if we could check in early. The front desk clerk, who we also learned was the cleaning lady, was very accommodating. She let us check in early and leave our car under the canopy while we did so. Our room was very clean and as we experienced later the bed very hard like my husband likes it. After going to sleep, I was awakened at 1:00 a. m. with a very loud party in the parking lot which overlooked our room. The only salvation was the very loud humming of the air-conditioner. I did not call the front desk to complain so that was my own fault. I did mention it to the front desk clerk the next morning. The breakfast bar was almost empty, but we decided to eat breakfast elsewhere anyway. We did meet a family in the elevator and they said their room was dirty. Needless to say, I would not have stayed if that were the case. Overall, the room was clean and spacious, front desk staff friendly, and location was great for our needs. At this time of the year all hotels are pretty expensive for what you get here at the lake anyway.
