Firts time I stayed at this chain. It's part of Interncontinental so you can earn Priority Club points. There's a Holiday Inn right next door as well. There's plwnty of free parking and the rooms are spacious and well equipped with sink, fridge, 2 burner stove and microwave. Bed was great. Breakfast is served with the full menu of eggs, sausage, fruit yogurt, toast, etc. A real time and money saver. The front lobby has a gas fireplace that throws out serious heat which was welcomed on this trip as the a.m. temp was in the single digits several mornings during my stay. The price is right as well; $79 during my stay.

This was a terrible stay this time. It was verrry noisy with outside traffic and hotel electrical service. The shower head trickle out sooooo slow I decided to skip the shower. The man at the front desk daytime did not have a very professional demeanor. He almost appeared mocking.

Stayed here for a week while in St.Louis for a family wedding. The reception was nearby at chandler hill vineyards,which was beautiful. The hotel is pretty far out of the city, and there's not much else to do near the hotel, but there is a few places around for food, drinks and a hairdressers across the road!

The hotel is spotless,it was always very clean. We stayed in a 2bedroom suite, it had 2 double rooms, both en suite with walk in wardrobes, both rooms had TV's. The living room also had a TV, and the kitchen was very well equipt with everything we needed. Plus really good airconditioning, which was SO important!!

The staff were always really helpful and the hotel has a shuttle bus, I think it will just drop you 5miles from the hotel.

The pool area was lovely and guests can use the BBQs beside the pool. Which we did one night!

One thing that was really great was free buffet breakfast every morning, which had a really good choice, and the "Sundowner Happy Hour" Tuesday through Thursday. Which had different choice of free food depending on the night with free beer on tap, wine (big bonus from me, as it had my favourite wine!!) or drinks.

It had free internet with a printer, which i used once to print off some things i needed(so handy!)

All in all...this is a great hotel!

Business Traveller, check and see if your employer has set up a rate here. If not, get your travel department on the phone with them now. Regardless, as you're about to read, price is great and worth every penny.

Family/Personal, one look at the amenities, definitely worth the price whether it's a night or a weekend.

Clean

From the lobby to the loo, this place is definitely well kept. The staff takes pride in their work and their property.

Room

Comfortable beds, kitchenette area (save money, get some groceries). In my room, I prefer a bit more seperation from the bathroom to the bed (sink and large closet area seperate the two), but that's the only complaint. Comfy couch, plenty of table stop space that doesn't take over the room, feel right at home.

Amenities.

This is key, this is one of the biggest reasons to stay. Free Sundowner "Happy Hour" Tuesday through Thursday. Unwind with a beer or glass of wine, decent food (hey, this is not a Ruth Chris), and soda's (pop or cokes depending on where you're from), a great breakfast selection every day, free laundry (machines only, detergents do have costs), business center (free internet), a really good gym (which I should use more often considering the free beer) that is not just your standard treadmill and stationary bike), outdoor pool (wintertime? You can use the Holiday Inn Express indoor pool next door), shuttle service to local businesses (why waste money on renting a car if your employer is nearby?), and a small area to purchase food or anything else you may have forgotten.

The Staff

Attentive, proactive and obviously take a lot of pride in where they work.
