Breakfast was pretty good, hot and fresh, good variety of items (except I could not find just Hot Water for tea - only coffee??) . Pool was clean and has good hours but was pretty crowded since it was so hot this weekend. Downside to the pool was the rough texture bottom - good for not losing your footing when walking in it, bad for sanding the skin off your legs or the tops of your feet if you happen to come in contact with it. Overall hotel seemed clean, however we only stayed one night so we didn't explore extensively. No road noise from the nearby interstate. Hotel was easy to find.
Our room (114) was a wheelchair accessible room on the corner of the hotel. Though we did not need the accessible room, it was the only room they had left that was a suite with a bedroom separated from the living area by a door. The wheelchair accessible features looked nice and user friendly. The suite was laid out well, furniture was comfortable for the most part. However, this room was not quiet! Being on the corner we were right next to the doorway to the outside and alongside the stairs, so it sounded like a herd of elephants was running up and down next to our room until about midnight and then started up again about 6 am. Also the headboard was against a wall that adjoins the men's restroom on the same floor, so we heard a lot of flushing and male-bathroom humor until late into the night. Kitchenette was decently stocked, but had to wash the glasses out of the cabinet before using them as they seemed to have dried specks of stuff on them. Sheets were clean and soft but had the hems coming out and the blanket for the sofa-bed had holes in it. Also, our 3 yr old daughter had to sleep on the sofa instead of the sofa-bed because the mattress on the sofa-bed was so thin the springs were almost poking through it.
Like I said, it wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed, but it wasn't the best. I think I'll probably go back to staying at Residence Inns vs. Staybridge if I have a choice. Our family really likes the extended stay format of hotel for our trips as they tend to be more comfortable for a family, especially that separate bedroom for the adults so we don't have to go to bed at 8pm like our daughter.
