After reading the reviews here I was a little reluctant to stay, however I was able to do the $39/night deal so I said what the heck how bad can it really be? I was pleasantly surprised. Room was very comfortable etc. I stayed in the Island Tower in room 301. I was right next to the elevator. I Couldn't hear anyone in the halls etc. I also noticed a review saying the carpets in the hall were dirty. I thought they were very clean! Everyone I dealt with was excellent! I realize it was a Monday night an wasn't very busy at all but I had a great stay. I did notice however in the Casino that the smoke could very easily get out of hand. With the few people that were there I could smell smoke, but it wasn't overwhelming.

Stayed one night at Harrah's on a Tuesday early in January. Stayed in a king size standard room in the Island Tower. The room was in good shape and very clean. The only part of the room showing it's age was the shower head, old and very loose, couldn't keep it pointed out. It would be a quick fix. The bed was very comfortable, and no issues with noise. The buffet was only average, nothing special. Didn't try any of the other restaurants. Big casino with plenty of games to choose from. Had pretty good luck. Overall, good stay, no complaints.

I stay at Harrah's St. Louis at least 4 times a year and I ALWAYS have a great time. My room is ALWAYS very nice, staff is ALWAYS very nice to me. Food is great. I love the casino. I love the convenience of the airport shuttle. When I read the reviews of other people I always wonder what is their problem. Perhaps it is because I am a loyal Harrah's customer. I never go anywhere but to a Harrah's property. My only complaint is that I can't go often enough!

I flew in from LA. on Fri. & had a room reserved @ Harrah's Casino to celebrate husband's birthday. Check-in time was 6: 00pm, but we arrived at 4:00 because my flight landed @ 3:45. We went to check-in & had NO problem getting in our room early, Staff was all helpful, room was clean & so were the hallways and carpet. Food was great, and so was Casino slots. I won beaucoup money!!! Thanks so much for your compimentary room & am looking forward to seeing you again.
