The service we experienced at the comfort in was very nice. The employees are friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately they work in and OLD hotel. The comfort inn Westport is fine, if u don't mind old dusty carpet, dilapidated rooms and the lingering smell of mold.

Everyone we encountered was nice, but that doesn't help when your afraid to walk barefoot on the carpet, worried you will step on the rusty floor drain in the shower and are choking all night from the dusty old room.

If you don't have allergies, enjoy. If you do, go to the residence inn down the street, it's rennovated and clean.

My wife and I are from Southern Illinois and not familiar with the St. Louis area. My wife was having a procedure done at Western Baptist which is the reason we are staying at this motel. She had a consultation with the doctor the day before her surgery and we got lost trying to locate the office because our GPS would not pick up the address. We found out that the Comfort Inn will shuttle us to and from the hospital. My wife spent a couple of days at the hospital but Me and our two dogs stayed at our room at the Comfort In with me being shuttled to the hospital. They are a pet friendly motel that charges $10 per pet, per night. Also we got a hospital discount that really helped. There is a delicious breakfast served every morning and a fitness room. There is an outdoor pool available but it was a little chilly for a swim. The staff is super friendly and we even took advantage of the free board games they offer the night before her surgery. The only disadvantage I could see was not every room has a microwave or fridge. There is a microwave available in the lobby area and we had to use our ice cooler for our cold items. We were Blown Away by their hospitality and will definately be choosing the Comfort Inn at our other travels. By the way, my wife's surgery went well and thanks for reading my review.

Our experience with all the staff was positive, friendly, professional & helpful.
The property itself is a disappointment, not quite having the polished look presented on their website. It has definitely changed in appearance with age & use. The chair in our room should have never passed inspection, it was beyond worn with felt patches on both arms and the seat. It was torn beyond the patch and heavily soiled. Our room ceiling sagged all the way across in 3 places. There was no vent in the bath. Parking is very limited at the front entrance lobby area & we found it inconvenient to park and walk through the back of the hotel for the entire stay. The breakfast isn't the "wide variety of pastries, hot breakfast buffet" as presented. It's more like a basic continental that stays the same daily & can get old very fast. I'm sorry but we'd have to say...never again here.

Me and my mom went for my birthday, we got in late and Reggie at the front desk said that he couldn't give me a birthday gift but he could give me a few snacks. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. I would recommended staying there next time you go to St Louis!
