I have stayed at this Hampton Inn several times since first traveling here in December 2011. I enjoy the consistency of the Hampton Inn when I travel for business. However, this Hampton Inn seems to go above and beyond. The decor in the common areas is nice - modern and contemporary. The free breakfast is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is also comfortable and the work station / desk area is conducive to working - good lighting, accessible outlets, etc. The microwave and frig are handy. The flat screen TV is a nice bonus. Free wi-fi is nice too (not sure if that's for everyone or because I am Hilton Honors member).

The property is about 45 minutes from airport (it is southeast of KC and airport); downtown KC is about 30 minutes away. There are plenty of restaurants in Lee's Summit; there is an Outback Steakhouse across the parking lot from the hotel which is very convenient. There is also an indoor pool and a gym.

A classic Interstate HI, older style, 2007 type interior with hutch working station, refrig and microwave. friendly staff, busy place, decent locaiton far east of KCMO, about 20 min.s

“Nice place to stay”

We stayed at the Hampton Inn 3 days around Christmas. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. I will certainly stay there again when I am in the area.

Room Tip: Most rooms were quite as the hotel is really off the main road.

What you would expect from a Hampton Inn. A nice clean room,but on the small side. Breakfast is okay. Staff are nice. Property seems on the newer

I stay at a lot of Hampton Inn's and other Hilton-branded properties. But, this is the first time that I ever went to my car in the morning time and found the ice/light snow already brushed off. In fact, all of the cars in the parking lot had the snow brushed off.

What a way to make a good impression. Other, more expensive hotels should take a lesson.

Otherwise, this is your usual Hampton. Nothing remarkable good or bad.
