“A little pricy for what it was, but adequate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2009

We stayed in a king room with a fridge and microwave. In addition to the bed, the room had a pull out couch and a coffee table. There was plenty of room for the crib in the room, which was nice, because we were able to put the crib far away from us enough to not hear every single movement of our daughter. Only two things really bothered me about the room: 1) Our non-smoking room was on the first floor next to a smoking room, and it sometimes smelled like smoke. My in-laws had a room across the hall, and theirs didn't smell like smoke, so this may be luck of the draw. 2) The sheets kept coming off the bed! I've never seen a hotel use fitted sheets before, and every morning, the corner of the sheets and mattress pad on both sides of the bed would peel off, leaving the mattress exposed. It was more annoying than anything else.

The housekeeping staff was friendly, and everything was clean except for the floor that turned all our socks black... but that is pretty standard for a hotel room.

The breakfast area itself was pleasant, and we read the paper together there. They were never low on food when we were there, and there were always enough places to sit. The hot breakfast food was just adequate enough to keep us from going out to breakfast, but wasn't all that enjoyable. One morning was hard, pre-cooked waffles and sliced breakfast kielbasa with biscuits, another was scrambled eggs with tiny bits of ham and cheese and sausage and biscuits, and I can't remember the other morning. There were three kinds of cereal, milk, oatmeal packets, coffee, pastries, bagels, muffins, and a juice machine. It all sounds good on paper, but my bagel was hard, and they had the same kinds of muffins each day I was there, so I was never sure how old they were.

If it matters to you, the Hampton Inn's pool is an outdoor pool, and was therefore closed because it is fall. The Holiday Inn next door has been recently remodeled and has an indoor pool.

Staff was friendly, and overall we were satisfied... I don't know how big the rooms are in the Holiday Inn next door, but I loved the roomy feel of our king room at the Hampton Inn. Traveling with a two-year-old, it made things seem a little less cramped.

“Manager needs to find a new line of work”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 December 2008

The facility was fine and I only had a small issue in the room. I made a comment to the manager "Arlene". I have never been treated so poorly in my life and I am in sales. It was a small maintainence issue that I thought the hotel might want to know about. I then got questioned if I broke the item and was asked "Well I suppose you want Your entire stay free?" I told her that that was not necessary I thought you need ed to know sorry I troubled you with it. She then proceeded over to one of her staff memebers and just ripped into the poor girl in front of the entire lobby. I decided to check out that day and checked into the Holiday inn the next day. I was so impressed with the staff at the Holiday inn I am making it my new hotel to stay in when I am in Lebanon. It is real sad to see bad management at a good hotel.

“Rather pricey but okay”

We stayed here for five nights when we were in town for the Brumley Gospel Sing this summer. The room's okay, nothing great. The microwave sits on top of the refrigerator, with no counter or cabinet or any place to put anything nearby. The bathroom is big, with good lighting, but the shower is the most pathetic shower we've ever experienced! Absolutely NO water pressure, no matter if it was morning, evening, or in between. The bed was very comfortable, especially after we got rid of the duvet and put on our own sheet and blanket. We'll be back to Lebanon next year for the same event, but will be staying up the road in St. Robert. There are only four good motels in Lebanon and we've been told they're all owned now by the same person, so rates for that week are likely to be jacked up and we don't want to pay more. There is a wonderful Mexican restaurant in the block next to the Hampton. Can't recall the name, but it's right next door to Quizno's.

“Much better than across the street!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2007

We spent 1 horrible night at the Super 8 across the street, and then checked out, and came to the Hampton Inn. I chose the Super 8 because of the great reviews on tripadvisor, and because the Hampton was almost double the price! BIG mistake!!! The front desk girl was very polite, and accomodated us on an early check-in. The hotel is older, and could use some updating of the carpets in the common areas. The rooms were clean, and fresh smelling (see my Super 8 review). The beds are the best part...wonderful plush "Cloud 9" beds, with great sheets, a white down comforter, and lotz of pillows!!! The room was huge, and had a nice sized bathroom. The hot breakfast was also very good, and the attendant was very friendly and welcoming. We would recommend this Hampton to anyone, and we will definately stay again, if we are in the area.

  • Liked — The great beds, and the staff!!
  • Disliked — No indoor pool

“Gross!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2006

GROSS!!!! Normally I stay at Hamptons but I will never stay here again. While I was in the room I closed the bathroom door to find a DIRTY pair of underwear..I mean DIRTY!!!!. I told the front desk and they told me that they would send someone up. $ hours later I called back down to be moved because no one ever came up. They said they did not have any more rooms left. They never came up to remove the underwear. The next morning I was waiting for the manager when I saw the breakfast person sneeze into her hand wipe it off on her apron then proceed to restock the food bare handed.

NO THANKS...I do not need you flu.

I reported this to the manager and no apology just a refund.... The next two nights I stayed at the Best Western Wyona Inn. $20 less and nothing but clean.
