It's convenient to I-35. Rooms are clean and relatively spacious. Bedding is above average. Carpet could stand replacing in some rooms. It is loud in the morning from 7-8 as people leave their rooms.

The omelets for breakfast are a nice touch. I usually stay there once a month when in the area, and feel like it's a good value for the rate.

It's not a five star hotel. It's a clean, no frills place to lay your head. If you're looking for luxury, drive in to Kansas City, double the rate and pay the 18% lodging tax. If you're looking for a $75 room with a 6% tax, this is your place.

We decided to stay at the Comfort Inn this year instead of the Super 8 next door where we usually stay. We go to Kearney every year for Nascar weekend because we have friends who live in Kearney. Comfort Inn was cheaper for their rooms, which is why we decided to try something new. I liked the fact they had a computer in the lobby with free internet to check our email while we were out of town. I also liked the breakfast area, they had a lady come in each morning to prepare the breakfast, and she also prepared omelettes made to order on a griddle. They had hot waffles and also biscuits and gravy, as well as donuts, cereal, etc. We made sure to take advantage of a free hot breakfast each morning before the races. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bedding, and we were given five pillows to share between the two of us which was very nice! The water pressure in the shower was great and we never ran out of hot water. So- not a five-star hotel, but for the price of the room during a race weekend we feel like we got a great value and would definitely consider usign this hotel again next year.

The reason we stayed here was the hotel was redone in Dec 2006. It may have been redone but some things were reused. The furniture in the dining room was worn and had stuffing coming out of the chairs. The toilet seat should have been replaced. Cleanliness was just OK and could have been better. The walls were very thin. At 5AM kept hearing doors shut and showers running. Will not stay there again.
