I stay in hotels quite a bit for both leasure and business travel. We have stayed in Super 8 hotels alot due to having a Wyndam Rewards card. We stayed at this Super 8 because it was close to Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun where we were having a short vacation. This is by far the worst Super 8 I have stayed in. The hotel needs a serious update. The carpets were old and smelled of mildew and cigarette smoke. The rooms had very small beds and need to be updated also. The pool was in rough shape with grass and leaves everywhere in the water. It seemed like the filters were not working properly. The continental breakfast wasn't too bad. Waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins, etc. Coffee, tea, and juices. This was a surprise due to the other bad aspects of the hotel. The staff seemed to try to accomidate the guests the best they could.

Honestly if I could have chosen again I would have gone somewhere else. Hotel personal was friendly but for some reason they kept setting the key cards up for one day instead of the duration of our stay until the 3rd day when the mid afternoon lady saw that and set it up for the rest of our stay. I did not notice red ants but did see little tiny ants that seemed attracted to the slightest hint of food crumbs. Our solution was to not let crumbs on floor. But over all they were not that bad. Toilet was a little loose on floor but worked fine and didn't actually tip over and was probably a room only thing. The accessible room had no shower chair like one would expect to see. I forgot mine in the other vehicle so a quick trip to walgreens and now I have one for both vehicles. The air conditioner was not the best either. It frosted up on the bottom and cause it to trip melting water under neath it. (possible cause of the ants?) Also more than half the evaporator coils were bent over causing poor airflow and to make to I spent an hour with a screwdriver straightening them and the air unit produced better after that. and during our stay for some odd reason they were painting the concrete parking lot with a black seal coat. Not so sure it needed that.Good wide selection of tv channels including travel channel and the local fox sports. I would say this is a good cheap place for a stay but I would think some other hotels near by might be better I have no desire to use this place again and I don't say that much. And wireless internet access came and went from in the room and was not that fast either used my sprint aircard often.

This is the most disgusting place I have ever been to next to an outhouse. The smell is beyond rank and it is the most seediest place ever. DO NOT take young kids to this place. If you have an allergy to cigarette smoke do not go near this place! From the parking lot at night it looks as though this place offers more than just an overnight stay for it's guests...the activity suggests possible "hourly rates" as well...

There were red ants crawling around our room. There was a spiderweb behind the bathroom door. The mini-fridge was not clean at all! The pool water was salty, as if bathing in a pool of sweat. And when we went to make a request to the attendant, she was arguing with a man about not refunding his money although he found bugs in his room! When I mentioned the bugs all she said was that she would have maintance take a look. Camping would have been 'cleaner' than this stay.
