I travel extensively and find this Marriott location to be only average.
The thing that bothers me most at Marriott Residence Inn locations is they are touted as extended stay hotels. Thus you expect the range/oven, refrigerator etc for the apartment experience for long term stay for travelers and or business people (like me). So when I arrive at one and there are no cooking dishes, supplies, etc. in the room and the staff has to go hunting around and sometimes do not come up with 'what should be in the room'. It stresses me to no end. Sometimes I check in late and do not need the hassle of doing and inventory of what should be in the room and then calling to complain about the missing items.
I.E. you cannot use the microwave without a set of plastic bowls, cannot use the range without a complete set of pans, cannot use the oven without oven dishes or broil a steak without a broiler, utensils, etc., etc.
The other issue that bother me at some Marriott locations? What good is a breakfast and or dinner offering if you have to (in cold weather) bundle up - and walk outside a block or two to get to the separate building to access the food. So if it is raining or worse snowing - forget about it! hummmm not what I come to expect if going to a Marriott. Oh and by the way at all locations the dinner is served M-T , not here, no Thursday meal (staff cut back due to cost??) Not so at other Marriotts!
The last straw? Let's talk about advertised free high speed internet. If it takes over TWO minutes to load any page you are trying to access IT IS NOT HIGH SPEED. That is slower than dial up. The connection here is so slow you cannot watch any uTube or even attempt to watch any Hulu, Netflix or any other video web site. Just will not work!
My Sprint 3G air card with limited access here worked faster!
