This is a nice hotel, clean rooms, fine linen,friendly staff, but....no wireless. That has become quite an issue for me and my iPad. I especially appreciated the staff at the restaurant. Both morning and night persons were friendly and went out of their way to provide good service.

My wife and I have stayed here twice the night before eaqrly flights out of MCI (Kansas City). Each room is nice and has a balcony. Quiet place (except sometimes during Chiefs games. You can get a great park and fly rate and a free shuttle to the airport and back to your car. Nice ameneties and stuff to purchase near the desk (i.e. toiletries, snacks, beer, wine, etc.).

I live, travel and work in Europe so it's always a treat to come back to the US and see that for less than a hundred bucks you can stay in a pretty decent hotel, unlike in Europe. The Courtyard in KC Int is no exception to that statement. I recently spent a week in this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable my stay was. The rooms are huge and top-notch. It certainly looks by the shape of the rooms that the hotel has undergone a recent renovation. Everything has that new, waiting to be broken in feeling. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of the elevators which looked like they missed out on the refurbishment, looking like something out of the mid-70s. The location is also ideal, about two miles or so from one of the greatest shopping and eating places in the US, the Zona Rosa. I usually made my way down there after work and found the proximity to the hotel very handy. I'd also like to mention the friendliness of the staff, especially the folks at the Bistro in the morning. Not only did they get to know me by name during my time there but after a couple of days, they had a good idea of what I liked. There were only a couple of things I didn't like about the hotel. One was that Wifi was only available in the lobby. Come on folks, this is the second decade of the 21st century. it can't be that hard or expensive to get Wifi on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Two was that I didn't feel that the breakfast deal that came with the room was that great. These two things were the reason I didn't give the hotel a maximum rating. However, bottom line is that if I'm ever back in KC I will certainly give this hotel a second look.

Excellent hotel for two-night mid-week business trip. Flat screens with HD is a huge plus. Starbucks coffee in Bistro is bonus. There was zero noise from all of the common sources - slamming doors, ice machines, car alarms, toilet flushes - none. Very quiet though be ware that in wedding season, according to staff, weekends can dial it up several notches. Shuttle service courtesy was great, typical of the Midwest. Dinners are within short walking distance to Cracker Barrel or Ruby Tuesday. Property is vintage Courtyard design in 3-story configuration. Rooms have small balconies overlooking interior courtyard.
