This property has been around a while and is trying hard to let its name carry it. While it is nice and pleasant and well located the rooms are not all that impressive. The rooms do offer the higher end extras, (plush robe, starbucks coffee in room, plush towels and bed sets), for the name and the billing one would expect more out of the overall look and feel of the room. My advice is do not get caught up in the name, save a few bucks and find a nice lower tier place to stay which will likely end up being equally as good.

I've been staying here a lot. The staff is friendly, the rooms are nice. I usually get the workout rooms and am always impressed with the soundproofing - I never hear the treadmill going in the adjoining rooms.

Food is hotel food. Meh.

Took the train from St Louis to KC and stayed at the Westin. Wonderful location. Checkin clerk asked me to produce another credit card because mine "wouldn't work." Told him it worked 30 minutes ago at another location. He said the problem was with his computer system. Told him to get his problem fixed because that was the card I was using. He switched to another computer. That mess should not have involved me.

We stayed only one night and the maid came to our room at least four times the day we were checking out. She started knocking at 8:00 am and kept it up until we left at 11:00 am. Irritating.

There is a $5.00 charge to use the fitness center. At these prices, one would think it would be included. There was a lot of equipment, but it was not state-of-the-art. My husband wanted to get into the hot-tub, but when he turned on the jets, an alarming amount of debris and ugly dirty water came spinning up. UGH!

This once was a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. Unfortunately, it is poorly managed.

My wife and I stayed at Crown Center in December of last year, and the entire experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The opportunities for things to do and see are all right there for you in the complex, and the staff of the hotel was particularly accommodating. We were staying at the hotel for a company party. I was singing in a trio as part of the companies entertainment and the front desk managers were very helpful in finding a place for our group to rehearse. When asked on the spot for help, they simply made it happen. No stress. It was a great evening. Thanks for a great time.
