This hotel stay started off wrong from the time I arrived and was checking in. The clerk at the desk was nice enough but her directions from the parking deck to the room were confusing and not the best. Also, she explained the no smoking policy and then directly asked if we smoked. I just thought that was an inappropriate question to ask us... she should explain the policy and keep it moving. The hallways were dark and dingy and my room was very far from the elevator and I still had to walk up a short flight of stairs to get to my room. The whole building layout was really odd and not efficient, when you park in the garage it's difficult to find the elevators. It was very frustrating trying to direct family members where to park and how to get to the room. The room was a good size and clean but really lacked on style and could use some serous updating. The worst was the lack of hot water; it took about 15 minutes for the water to get hot. I called guest services to enquire if there was an outage since I was running the water and it was still lukewarm at best. Also, the parking deck was really confusing on which door and elevator to use. The gate locks at 11pm to one of the parking garages and you are forced to park on the upper level which was full when we arrived back to the hotel after a night out. Why is one parking garage close to hotel guest at 11pm? If you miss curfew I guess you have to park on the street. Stay somewhere else, this hotel is NOT on my list of recommendations.
