Evidentally, if you book through Priceline, you get stuck with the worst rooms! We are staying at the hotel, now. We are stuck here one more night. They stuck us RIGHT behind the elevator shaft and it sounds like a freight train is roaring through our room...ALL NIGHT! And the head of the bed is pushed RIGHT up to the wall with the elevator shaft! My ears are ringing and Ive had NO SLEEP! I called the front desk at 8am to be moved to another room for tonight and was told they are sold out and no other rooms available except RIGHT by elevator shafts! Really? Is EVERYONE staying 2 nights? NOOO ONE is checking out, today at some point? Unacceptable! Evidentally, if you book through Priceline you get the smallest, crappiest rooms. We stayed here a lot when this was the Hyatt and got MUCH nicer rooms.
As for the food..eeeeek! NASTIEST EVER...HANDS DOWN! We ordered the spicy chicken wings. They were RED AND BLOODY inside! I was mortified! I cut the test open and they were ALL VERY RAW! YES...RAW CHICKEN! We also ordered chili con queso, also, and it tasted like really tangy cheese whiz with something chunky in it. I couldnt identify it. I called to tell them about the chicken and left it to show them. They called back and said they would take it off our bill.
Needless to say, Ive been nauseated and trying to sleep through a freight train roaring at my head. I now have a migraine.
As for the good..the staff is very friendly. Wjen I explained the issue with the noise and asked for a different room for our second night...at 8am..they TURNED ME DOWN..WITH A SMILE! THANKS SHERIDAN!!
