This hotel was OK for one night. Very good location right off the expressway, and close to restaurants. Rooms need updating, and the beds were not that comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but poorly lit.

I recently stayed at this Best Western in Kansas City when I was in town on a long weekend to visit family. I wanted a place to stay that was not far from the airport because I was getting in late and leaving again very early. It was nearly midnight when I got to the motel and the gentleman at the desk was bright and cheery -- telling me that someone was awake all night and if I needed anything, just let the front desk know. Everyone I met on staff in the four days I was there was polite and helpful. The motel is up-to-date and very clean. I recommend it highly. And since I was there for four nights, I received a special lower price for a three-night stay. What more could I ask!

Traveled by bus with 40 others, was issued an upstairs room ( no elevator) so had to change to downstairs room that was obviously non smoking room (no ashtrays) but so smoke damaged from cigarettes could barely breathe. Lisol spray barely covered the smell. Room faces to the outside. Was tired and went to bed and to sleep!

I traveled to attend a concert downtown but didn't want to pay the downtown prices. I had a room with a king bed. The room was clean and fairly large. WiFi was easy to connect to (I've had issues with other hotels). It was an easy 15 minutes from downtown KC. I didn't really care for the location, a bit isolated. I left before the comp breakfast so not sure. I had a small outdoor pool but didn't use it.
