I traveled to attend a concert downtown but didn't want to pay the downtown prices. I had a room with a king bed. The room was clean and fairly large. WiFi was easy to connect to (I've had issues with other hotels). It was an easy 15 minutes from downtown KC. I didn't really care for the location, a bit isolated. I left before the comp breakfast so not sure. I had a small outdoor pool but didn't use it.

I was not impressed. I asked for a non-smoking room and was issued a smoking room. For the what we spent, however, the quality of the experience was to be expected.

I decided to stay at his location because I saw the pictures of the rooms online and it was inviting to me. Low and behold when I checked into the room they looked exactly as how I saw the pictures so that was a big plus for me. The lady at the front desk was very nice and always had a smile for me when I entered the office area (multiple times because I had alot of questions for food choices etc). Great rooms, great service including housekeeping who clean the rooms to the nooks and crannies! Will stay here again when I"m back for work.

I would not recommend staying here again. We stayed here on a road trip on our way south and had to come back north through Kansas City and decided not to stay here again. The hotel itself is not that bad, the staff was nice and the breakfast was fine. The room was ok for the price. However the neighborhood was not good. We got in late at night and there was a party going on across the street and people walking around on the street. We heard sirens all night long. We did not have a good nights sleep.
