“Worst Headache Ever!!!”

This was a ghetto version of Wolf Creek Lodge...Should have known when they had plenty of rooms available and everyone else was booked. The service was terrible with unfriendly staff. The walls were paper thin. The room was over priced. The elevators were slow and packed. If you wanted to make it to the room before your stay was over you'd have to take the stairs! No ice machines that were working. Food at the restaurant was not very good and I had to go to the bar to have my drinks refilled and the staff at the bar wouldn't add it to my bill and had me pay for it separately. By the time our food came our kids were so cranky from being hungry that it wasn't enjoyable, and they asked if they could seat another family with ours when the place was nearly empty. The waitress was talking badly about the other server.Go at your own risk!

“Dont Stay Here!!!!”

If you are coming by cab it maybe ok... but 15 cars had their windows taken out this morning, and management could careless. He didnt even come outside to offer anything. We had to go in, they want you to sign something for their insurance, than shop vac your car ( we were told this rarely happens) It was the police officer that offered a far more detailed picture of the troubles this hotel has.As for the room.. it was a room. We had to put towels under the windows for the rain. And the toilet kept running.. oh and the elevators.... If you want to wait 10 min and 15 people piling in.... I am not happy at all. I have let everyone I know. I would not recommend any of you to stay here... If this happens often, why not more than 1 security guard for the parking lot? GMs response... it must have happened when he was in the bathroom.

“Dirty Rooms! Great front desk staff!”

Checked into my room, it left much to be desired, from hair, make-up and food left on the bedding from the previous guest, to no towels, and hair in the shower. So I called down to the front desk and Lauren answered, sincerely apologized and had somebody up within minutes to redo all of my bedding, bring towels and clean the shower. The gentleman, (mike I believe) did a fantastic job. Later I went down to the front desk to inquire about the Internet service and to thank Lauren for her fast response to my needs. She just smiled and graciously informed me on how to access the free Internet. She was very friendly and noticed my Vietnam Vet hat and thanked me for my service, which was the cherry on top of the sundae. So, even though it was a rough start it was quickly corrected and I ended up very much enjoying the Holiday Inn. Even at check out Angel was very friendly and kind in asking how my stay went and wished me a great day. It was an overall great stay.

“WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.”

This was seriously the WORST experience ever had at a hotel!!! My family (4 kids and husband) and i stayed for only 2 nights and the final charge was 436 freaking dollars!! They overcharged us!! To start off, the air conditioning was not working so the room was at least 90 degrees hot!! They brought us 1 fan that said Sheraton on it! I thought it was supposed to say Holiday inn! They sent FOUR different engineers up to my room and all 4 of them told me completely different stories!! My husband and i went to the front desk to complain about how terrible this experience was and the man said he would take half of the price off of our check and find the coldest room in the hotel. THAT never happened!! They called my room at 1:00 in the morning and told me that they would find a room within the next 2 hours. I can't get my children and move them around like that!! Well the man didn't take off how much he said it would cost for us. That NEVER happened!! It ended up being 436 dollars for two nights and obviously half of the money wasn't taken off of the check! Also, since my husband and i slept in a bed, we put two in the other bed and got a rollaway for my 2 and 4 year old children. I had to call the front office 3 times and remind them because it took 4 hours just to bring a roll away bed to my hotel room. NEVER AGAIN will my family and I stay at the holiday inn EVER again. I suggest to never ever stay at this terrible hotel! Oh and to end this review, there were bugs in my room. Yea, bugs. Ew.

Room Tip: Just don't come to this hotel.

I have spoken with department heads, managers and staff to address the challenges mentioned above to keep similar challenges from occurring again.

Heat didn't work and it was 20 degrees outside; security latch missing on door; just ditry and needs overhaul; highway robbery for $200 a night; only plus was convenience to Arrowhead
