From the front desk, to the cafe, to the support staff - everyone is attentive and genuine.

the 6th floor of the hotel has vents in the ceiling that are out vents for the building. There are also hvac vents as you would expect. The out vents though are on ALL night and it makes it impossible to sleep. Called the front desk and they said........can't do anything about it......tried to move to another floor.......no rooms available.

Nice quiet hotel.. nice spacious rooms.... LOVED IT!

We stayed here this past weekend for a wedding in Kansas City. Hotel is a beautiful, historic building perfectly situated in the Country Club Plaza area. Walking distance to many wonderful restaurants and high-end shops. Plenty of free parking behind the building and free Internet access.

Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated (not real new, but certainly not drab or shabby). Our room faced the street and there were three large windows with a beautiful view of a park. We had a microwave and small refrigerator which came in handy to snack on the leftovers from the great meals we had at nearby restaurants. Our King room had a sitting area with a sofa and coffee table making it very easy to relax while watching TV. This isn't a fancy hotel, but it's very comfortable and ideal for people who want a nice place to stay without spending a fortune.

There is a tiny bar in the lobby that is open from 5 pm to 10 pm which was a great place to visit with family who were also staying there for the wedding.

Overall, this is a great place to stay. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the KC area.
