It is a really historical place adjusted to a good restaurant. Renovations in the part of the hotel we lived are accomplished. We had no problems in this regard. The place is clean, the staff is very friendly, breakfast is really delicious. You have a choice from 34 items you wish to be prepared for you (your selection has to be made a day in advance). The hotel is situated in Downtown. The area is safe and clean. There are many historical art deco buildings around. If you are without a car, a MAX bus will take you within minutes for 1.5 $ to major shopping and cultural points. Central market is 15 min by foot. Do not miss a newly opened Center for performing arts and the city library which occupies the building formerly belonging to a bank (see the cellar). I would stay in Savoy again and would recommend this hotel to our tourists.

Hotel is falling apart around you.. both wings are unrenovated.we had a renovated room- the king bed suite..which was nice enough, but 2 of the 3 windows were broken in the room and the AC was broken- said 68 F in our room, was really more like 78..we sweat all night. But the breakfast was AMAZING.. tons of food- lobster bisque, oysters, etc.. and the waitstaff was very nice..other than that i would never stay here..not worth $109...

Spent two nights here and loved it. The help could not be friendlier, the breakfast better, nor the value any greater. This hotel is rustic and filled with charm. The room was spacious, clean, and unique. Don't expect a Holiday Inn type experience but do expect a memorable time, personalized service and a breakfast that rivals any you have had at a hotel.

The Savoy B&B is a very old building. From the outside it does not look the best. Once you go on the inside there is a lot of charm. We stayed in the same room both times we stayed here. The room has a king bed and is very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. The Hotel is in walking distance of a lot of things. The Hotel has the best breakfast that is included in the price. There is a large selection from eggs to fish to steak. You can pick as much as you are hungry for. I recommend this Hotel. If you love old places and like to eat....this is it.
