The room was nice, the pool was small, but nice and warm, the hot tube was fine. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful.

The rooms need to be updated and are dirty. The pool was very small and there was gum in the bottom of the hot tub. Overall I think this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at- I am extremely disappointed considering the price of the room!

Stayed over 4th of July weekend. Although relative on the phone twice for two hours to book room (first reservation not recorded) we arrived and the rollaway bed we reserved had been given to the people next to us. NO record of request on file.Desk clerks were only part that saved this stay. Very friendly and helpful, and overworked, but take the flak for owners/managers lack of regard for ammenities that attract us. Pool indoors and no heater at all. We looked forward to getting in pool-impossible due to temp. Plus, the hottub (a box not round) was "out of order" and I suspect done on purpose to save on utilities. We booked the place because of the pool and hottub. Place smelled like choline throughout the building. The tv sound is lousy.

My husband and I with our three small children recently spent one night here on our way through the area on a long car trip. We are a member of the rewards program for Choice Hotels, so we generally always try to stay in one when we can, and in the past after many other nights in Choice hotels have rarely been disappointed until this one. We paid 2x's as much as what this hotel was worth. The rooms were outdated, carpet old and needed to be cleaned. Spots on the couch. With 3 children we rely on the pull out couch for a bed, and the mattress was literally about one inch thick. We had to ask for sheets for the pull out couch bed, and when we asked for more pillows for this bed, the staff hesitated and said there should have been enough in the room. The pool area was very much in need of renovation. The bottom of the pool looked dirty/slimy. We weren't sure if we should even have our kids swim in it. The hall noise and noise from people above us made it seem like the walls were paper thin. The breakfast was another disappointment. All of the breads, biscuits, pastries were hard and stale. The coffee was weak with terrible flavor. We definitely wouldn't stay here again and would go with a different hotel chain or go out of our way to stay at a different Choice hotel.
