We really like the Microtel suite layout with work desk, dinning table and chairs, couch and coffee table and small kitchen counter fridge w/freezer. This had all that, BUT...When we arrived it took ten minutes to get someone to front desk. There was no/little hot water. No elevator. Breakfast, basic continental. Small indoor pool. Small, old TV in our room. Wi-Fi worked fine. Good Italian fast food steps away. Cracker Barrel, short walk. Many other stores and eateries nearby.
Nearby, most of the businesses are back in operation after that tragic F5 Tornado that hit here last May. It is amazing to see the 6 mile long, one mile wide swath it cut through town. So very sad but the spirit of the people here is also amazing. They love this town and are rebuilding. Our hearts go out to them.
Room Tip: Try to get first floor and check to see if they fixed the hot water problem

I would like to apologize for the lack of attention from the front desk clerk. Please never hesitate to inform the manager of any desk clerks behavior, this provides me with the information that I need in order to make improvements where they are needed. Regarding your comments on the lack of hot water, I am happy to report that the issue has been resolved. Also we have updated our television sets to 32 inch wall mounted high definition flat screens. This is a small hotel thus there are no elevators and the pool is small but we feel that we can still offer our guests a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
